Ø At first the compressed air and gas is supplied to the combustor. After combustion hot flames and flue gases are produced at a large amount.
Ø These hot flue gases pass through the water tubes. Hence heat is exchanged between the hot gas and water.
Ø Then water starts to convert into saturated steam and goes to boiler drum.
Ø Then water comes down from boiler drum and converts into steam gradually. This process is done by natural circulation.
Ø Then the saturated steam passes through the super heater box and becomes super heated.
Ø This super heated steam is used to rotate the steam turbine at steam power plant.
